Synopsis

On the Rio De Contas River banks, in the Bahia province (Brazil) the Pura Vida cocoa plantation represents a bridge between the locals and the rest of the world.

Volunteers from the world over come here to contribute to the farm work (such as composting or gardening) and to participate in the cocoa growing production, alongside the natives; from picking the beans to its transformation into chocolate.

Together, with the help of Harold, a Frenchman, they produce cocoa that is both organic and an example of fair trade.
