Synopsis

Established in Brazil since 2003, in an area with a population of one million, “Cultivando Agua Boa”, is a social and environmental program that has been restoring participative democracy, repairing environmental damages and preparing a viable future thanks to the quality of water and a territory management scheme based on micro-watersheds.

A successful example of public politics based on modern environmental and social ethics.

Why this film ?

Social ecologist activist. At the origin of the citizen movement against 7 dams project in France and involved in the fight against National Hydrological Plan in Spain.

These two civil ecologist movements were victorious and received the Goldman prize (1995 and 2003).
